Professor of Microbial Genomics at the Lebanese American University. Research interests include Bacterial genomics, Metagenomics, Bioinformatics, Human Microbiome, Molecular mechanisms of resistance to antimicrobial agents, and microbial pathogenesis. Currently, my primary focus lies in conducting thorough genomic analyses of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, including E. faecium, S. aureus, K. pneumoniae, A. baumannii, P. aeruginosa, and Enterobacter spp., collectively referred to as the ESKAPE pathogens.
