Strategies for adopting disruptive technology among universities during
the COVID-19 pandemic
Abstract
The study adopted qualitative approach to explore the strategies used by
universities based on experience of the key informants when adopting
eLearning as a disruptive technology during the COVID-19 pandemic. The
sample size was 10 interviewees, five (three faculty and two ICT
personnel) from each of the two universities. Analysis of their
demographic profile indicates a diverse age group ranging between 30
years and 50 years. It was required that these participants must have
unique experiences, perceptions, attitudes and characteristics
concerning the eLearning adoption strategies in universities.
