Strongyloides stercoralis is a soil-transmitted nematode that is
estimated to infect millions of people yearly worldwide. However, cases
are less commonly seen in the United States. This report highlights the
importance of when to include Strongyloides stercoralis in the
differential diagnosis of patients presenting eosinophilia within the
United States.
