Conclusion
In this prospective cohort study, we showed that COVID-19 vaccines are
generally safe and well-tolerated among pregnant women. Pfizer-BioNTech
vaccine was associated with higher rate of low birthweight as compared
with Astra Zeneca vaccine. More longitudinal follow-up, including
follow-up of large numbers of women vaccinated earlier in pregnancy is
necessary to inform maternal, pregnancy, and infant outcomes.
