By partnering with Jami, the NCSU Libraries enabled students and faculty
from computer science to entomology to industrial and systems
engineering to learn how to use Git and GitHub for their work and for
collaboration. Feedback from attendees of Jami’s workshops has been
overwhelmingly positive; and the diversity of disciplines represented by
participants show how widespread the desire and need is on campus to
learn how to use these types of collaborative, authoring, and version
control tools.
